Equipment and Testing Services
We use our own calibrated testing equipment to independently verify system performance—providing accurate, defensible data for commissioning, diagnostics, and long-term reliability.
OVERVIEW
Equipment and Testing Services
We maintain our own commissioning grade testing equipment so that verification does not depend on contractor provided instrumentation. This includes manometers, airflow measurement tools, data loggers, thermal imaging cameras, power analyzers, and smoke equipment used during functional testing. By relying on our own calibrated equipment, we maintain independence, eliminate excuses in the field, and ensure that all commissioning data is accurate, defensible, and fully controlled by the owner’s representative. Our approach ensures that system performance is validated under real operating conditions rather than assumptions or incomplete field data.
Capabilities include, but are not limited to:
Earth ground resistance testing for grounding and bonding systems
Energy data logging and power quality analysis including voltage, current, harmonics, transients, and demand trends
EIA and TIA compliance testing of copper and fiber optic cabling including certification reports and remediation guidance
Phase rotation and voltage verification for new equipment, replacement equipment, and system modifications
Infrared scanning of electrical equipment, mechanical systems, building envelope elements, and moisture intrusion points
Building pressure testing and envelope diagnostics using calibrated digital manometers, smoke pencils, fog generators, and blower door equipment to identify leakage paths and verify pressurization of critical zones
Airflow measurement and balancing verification using vane anemometers, flow hoods, and pitot tubes to confirm compliance with design intent and system sequences
Monitoring of temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds for comfort and indoor air quality diagnostics during commissioning and forensic investigations
Trend data extraction and analysis from building automation systems to verify control sequences, setback strategies, and equipment cycling
Verification of emergency and standby system performance including load testing, transfer timing, and breaker operation using independent metering tools
These tools allow us to validate installations, confirm performance, and document issues with precision. They remove ambiguity in the field and provide owners with objective, data driven results that support corrective action, warranty claims, and long term reliability planning.
